Kashmir Kaur graduated from Texas Woman's University as an Registered Nurse in December 2001 and finished her Master of Science in Nursing in December 2004. During her master degree she specialized in Family Medicine and obtained her license as Certified - Family Nurse Practitioner in March 2005.

As an R.N., Kashmir had the opportunity to work in Baylor Medical Center from December 2001 through October 2005. After she obtained her Certification and license as Family Nurse Practitioner she worked at Heart First from May 2005 until August 2008. At Heart First she had the great opportunity to enhance her skills in Cardiology specially by providing continuity of care and education to Hypertensive and Hyperlipedimic patients.  Kashmir has also worked in Family Practice and Urgent Care settings. She speaks English, Hindi and medical Spanish.
