Bus Safety: Even though, riding buses is safer than riding a particular car or bike, according to the National Safety Council (NSC), last year, approximately 26 students were killed and another 9,000 were in incidents involving bus transportation. These deads and incidents mostly occurred during entering or exiting the bus and not due to a crash.
